Concept
Like any product, a great hardware project starts with a solid concept and understanding of how it fits in with the larger product map and business. We utilize design thinking and user experience mapping approaches to define the product architecture strategy and hardware profile requirements before jumping into hardware prototyping.
Prototyping
We apply lean startup and agile prototyping techniques to hardware design, leveraging development kits such as Arduino, Raspberry PI, etc. and various programming languages including C, Python and JavaScript to quickly build and test hardware profiles. We then validate the product strategy and business goals before moving to small scale demo board production.
Production
Once a hardware design has been evaluated and proven to work in the prototyping and small serial demo stages we move on to production design and manufacturing with our partners. This includes embedded programming, production-level PCB designs, test-run production, sourcing components, and working working with manufacturers to start initial and full production runs.
